Player Social program sees success as cornerstone of MLB’s player-focused marketing push

Major League Baseball is increasing its player-focused marketing efforts with a Player Social Media program powered by Greenfly, a company founded by two-time MLB All-Star Shawn Green. The program provides pictures and videos to players after games, and also offers players the ability to create and request content directly.

As of July 30th, 2019, 42 percent of the League uses Greenfly. And during the most recent All-Star Game, the program produced more than 2,000 pieces of content.
